Originally from the great state of Minnesota, I moved to South Korea in 2010 and have been here ever since. I hold an MA degree in Modern Korean Literature from Yonsei University. I also have completed the 2-year Special Program at LTI Korea as well as participated for several years of the Atelier program. This has given me a solid foundation in the most creative aspects of translation. My skills in taking text in a foreign lagnguage and transforming it into highly readable, accurately conveyed output are imperative in a world filled with AI, or machine, translation. My experience embedded in both American and Korean culture, educational background, and natural sensibility help me to navigate the most difficult aspects of translation, the human touch that is preferred by businesses and authors in today's world.
